This necklace was created using various matte shades of Czech glass beads and resin roses on an antiqued gold chain. The lobster clasp is complemented with a Dia de los Muertos skeleton charm. 

The piece was inspired, as the name suggests, by the spirit of Frida Kahlo. Her endless creativity in the face of tragedy is an inspiration; I used bright colors and roses in an effort to recall the rich textures of the Mexican culture in which she was raised.
