This necklace is a lariat, meaning there is no clasp: it simply fits over the head and hangs low on the chest. The strands are made up of beautiful navy beads with gold and purple highlights. There are crimps throughout the strand which in the case of damage, minimize loss of beads. The drop is a red vintage glass with a nice glacier blue highlight that complements the navy beads. It is encased in an antique gold filigree. Truly a lovely necklace!
